Our story as furniture logistics specialists begins.
For over 20 years, Gugel has specialised in shipping furniture and furnishings. Managed by three siblings, Fabio, Fabrizio e Loretta, for whom shipping is a family tradition; their father, Pierluigi Gugel, started a craft business in shipping furniture. The company was founded in Pieve di Soligo (and is still there) in the province of Treviso, in the heart of fertile land in the North-East of Italy where running a business is synonymous with challenge and adventure. The challenge for Gugel was being able to offer a complete service to its clients that goes much further than simply delivering goods:
Goods collection is organised in a flexible way in order to meet the business needs of the Client;
At the cross-dock platform in Pieve di Soligo (Treviso), the loads are put together for shipping, guaranteeing services for full loads and groupage;
Shipping is organised to the very last detail, so that the client is given a definite delivery date, with destinations all over Italy and Europe using our own vehicles and all over the world thanks to collaborations and partnerships.
Thanks to a strong collaboration with Embassy Cargo, from September 2016, we are offering a new specialist service for shipping furniture directly by sea or air to the United States. Thanks to its two sites and over 20,000 sqm of space, the company also offers logistics outsourcing services; you can even use this space to store your raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, with great operational and financial advantages.
